To get to Jaco from San Jose you can take a bus or rent a car. It takes 1,5-2 hours of an easy drive to arrive at Jaco.

How are the roads in Costa Rica?

The road conditions in Costa Rica are normal, much better than in many other Latin American countries. If you pay attention to your surroundings and you don’t drive too fast, nothing bad is going to happen. Oh, and don’t forget that sometimes sloths are crossing the roads, so be careful and just stay patient!

Do you need a PCR test to enter Costa Rica?

You don’t need a PCR test to enter Costa Rica.

Do you need a vaccine to enter Costa Rica?

You don’t need any vaccine to enter Costa Rica, except if you are coming from a country where yellow fever is a high risk. In this case, you have to show up a yellow fever vaccine upon arrival.

Do I need a passport or visa to enter Costa Rica?

You don’t need a passport or visa to enter Costa Rica if you stay maximum of 90 days in the country. However, you have to prove that you will leave in 90 days by showing up your departure ticket upon arrival.

About the Villa

Do you provide towels?

Yes, the house has towels, sheets and everything you need to feel comfortable and to be able to pack light.

When is the check-in time?

Check-in time is from 4 pm.

How can I reach the property?

You can reach the property by taking the small road to Hotel Villa Caletas. The house will be on the right side of the road, just before reaching the hotel.

When is the check-out time?

Check-out time is at 11 am.

Is the area safe?

The area is totally safe, and the villa as well: it is protected with 6 camera security system in the common areas and digital deadbolts at all entry points.

Do you have a laundry?

Yes, both a washing machine and a dryer are available in the villa, 24 hours a day.

Is there WIFI?

Yes, the entire house is equipped with High-Speed Wifi with extenders.

Do you have AC?

The home has 6 separate AC split systems that can keep it as comfortable as one desires.

Can I watch TV?

Yes! Each bedroom is equipped with brand new 55″ Samsung smart TVs that include a VPN to watch US-based YouTubeTV, HULU, Netflix, Disney+, HBOMax, and more.

Public buses are available from the main road, about 5 minutes walk from the villa.

How far is the nearest beach?

The nearest beach is 11 km away, easily reachable by car.

Where is the closest supermarket?

The closest supermarket, Auto Mercado is 6 km away

Do the staff speak English?

Yes, our staff speaks excellent English and Spanish.

How will I get the keys?

Our property manager, Yahaira will wait for you with her amazing guacamole and will help you with everything regarding and during your stay.
